Galvalume Steel Coil(55% Aluminium-Zinc Alloy Coated Steel Coil)
Aluminium-zinc steel is composed of an aluminium-zinc alloy structure, consisting of 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon solidified at a high temperature of 600 degrees Celsius. Its entire structure consists of aluminium - iron - silicon - zinc, the formation of dense tetrameric crystals of an alloy coated steel.
Properties
1. Thermal reflectivity
Aluminium-zinc-plated steel coils have a high thermal reflectivity, which is twice that of galvanised steel, and are often used as a heat-insulating material.
2.Heat resistance
Aluminium-zinc alloy steel sheet has good heat resistance and can withstand high temperatures of more than 300 degrees Celsius, similar to the resistance to high-temperature oxidation of aluminium-zinc-plated steel coil, often aluminium-zinc-plated steel coil is used in chimney pipes, ovens, lamps and fluorescent lamp shades.
3. Corrosion resistance
The corrosion resistance of aluminium-zinc coils is mainly due to the protective function of aluminium. When the zinc is abraded, the aluminium forms a dense layer of aluminium oxide, which prevents the corrosion-resistant material from further corroding the interior
4. Economy
Since the density of 55% AL-Zn is less than that of Zn, the area of aluminium-zinc plated steel sheet is more than 3% larger than that of zinc-plated steel sheet in the case of the same weight and thickness of the plating layer.
5. Easy to paint
Aluminium-zinc plated steel coils have excellent adhesion to paint and can be painted without pre-treatment or weathering.
The paint adhesion of the gold-plated layer of aluminium-zinc-plated steel coils is excellent, so it can be applied directly to advertising boards and general-purpose boards without pretreatment such as weathering.
6. It has a gorgeous silver-white surface.
