What is aluminium-zinc plated sheet
Aluminium-zinc plated sheet is a steel plate plating on the basis of zinc with the addition of aluminium (passivation protection), the general composition of 55% aluminium, 43.5% zinc, 1.5% silicon, with excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion, corrosion resistance of galvanized sheet 2-5 times, but also has the high temperature corrosion resistance of aluminium plate, smooth surface, good appearance, but the formation of its plating and resistance to welding a little worse. In foreign countries generally about 40% of aluminium zinc plating used directly, about 60% of the plate is further as a colour coated substrate.
Uses: building roofs, walls, electrical cabinets, home appliances, automobiles, colour coated substrates, etc.
Base Metal Plate (Cold Rolled): It has the advantages of high strength, easy processing and economy, but it is prone to corrosion.
55% Alu-Zinc Steel Sheet: 55% Aluminium + 43.5% Zinc + 1.5% Silicon and other trace elements.
Alloy Layer: By forming a thin alloy layer between aluminium and iron, it inhibits the growth of brittle zinc-iron alloys and increases processability.
