Advantages:
1. Corrosion resistance: Galvalume Steel Coil have strong corrosion resistance with a normal service life of up to 25 years which is three to six times longer than galvanized sheets and comparable to stainless steel. The corrosion resistance of Galvalume Steel Coil comes from the protective function of aluminum oxide layer that prevents zinc from sacrificing itself when there are cuts or scratches on edges or damage to the coating.
2. Heat resistance: Galvalume Steel Coil have high thermal reflectivity making them suitable for use as roofing materials; they also have excellent heat resistance themselves which makes them ideal for use in high-temperature environments up to 315 degrees Celsius.
3. Re-coatability (adhesion): Galvalume Steel Coil maintain outstanding adhesion with paint films without requiring any special pretreatment before direct painting or powder spraying.
4. Corrosion Resistance after Coating: After local painting baking treatment, the corrosion-resistance reduction caused by not being painted is minimal compared with electroplated colored zinc plates, electroplated zinc plates or hot-dip galvanized plates.
5.Processability: (shearing, punching,stitch welding) Galvalume Steel Coil have outstanding processing capabilities such as stamping,shearing,welding etc.,with good adhesion strength and impact-resistance properties
6.Conductivity: By special wax treatment on the surface of Galvalume Steel Coil, it can meet the requirements for electromagnetic shielding.
